Nightcrawlers, Explained

There are certain patterns I observe—symbols, phrases, and occurrences that tend to group together. Clustering is what I call this phenomenon, where multiple related symbols or events crop up simultaneously.

Nightcrawlers fall into this pattern. They represent people (almost always men) who suddenly 'crawl out of the woodwork'—unexpected figures from the past, typically preceded by a wave of complete strangers (again, usually masculine individuals, but I have experienced exceptions to this) who surface seemingly out of nowhere. These nightcrawlers, these individuals who come out of the blue/out of nowhere/out of the woodwork are specific key phrases and terms I will use to denote this activity. This activity reflects an ongoing process that has been unfolding beneath the surface and is now reaching the end of its cycle, similar to the final stage of a dragonfly's life cycle, when it emerges from the water and becomes visible. These are hidden forces coming to light, requiring conscious awareness.

When I report that I have been 'seeing a lot of 🌭 and 🤠' symbolism, this is, in part, an aspect of that same process I am referencing. The Wild West is a subconscious reference (linked to the Solar Plexus, aka the Jupiter center), while 🤠 represents the Throat-Sacral axis. Combined with 🌭, this points to Chokmah and Alchemical Sulphur—having noted themes of initiation, volatility, and unchecked masculine energy. These symbols don't appear in isolation or merely as some abstract concept; they're connected to real-world events that unfold in recognizable ways.

The Patterns:

1. The Surge of Strangers - A flood of randos (almost always men) hitting my DMs, sending friend requests, and appearing on my radar. As an objectively attractive woman, random attention is nothing new, but this is different—it's a lot, and it's all at once. No mutuals. No prior interactions. Just unsolicited, often inappropriate, and aggressive attempts to get my attention. The energy is overtly sexual and, at times, genuinely creepy rather than just annoying.

2. The Bad News Cycle - When this pattern shows up, it's often followed by disturbing news about someone I know (or used to know). It's usually not a close connection, but the details are heavy—assault, trafficking, violence against a feminine person. Sometimes, the perpetrator is a man I once knew.

3. A Warning Signal - When these patterns emerge, I know I need to stay sharp. There's volatile and hostile energy afoot—what I call Fear and Loathing Mode. This is when I go into high alert:

Block. Delete. Ignore.

No engaging. No entertaining.
Stranger danger is real.

4. The Return of the Past - This pattern also tends to precede the reappearance of someone from my past. Not always in a negative way, but almost always temporary—a moment of closure, a lesson, a final chapter, the tying up of loose ends.
